1951

Our company has its origin in one of the world's oldest and largest recruitment consulting companies, founded in the United States in 1951 by H.Wardwell Howell.

1993

Ward Howell International became the first major company to practice executive search in Russia, and was the first to begin active cooperation with Russian customers, including official and non-profit organizations. The company was formed in 1993 as Ward Howell's independent Russian affiliate and opened offices that year in Moscow and St. Petersburg.

1996-
1997

The Economist and the Russian newspaper Commersant Daily first time recognized Ward Howell International as the best recruitment company in Russia in the field of executive search.

1998

Two of our Russian consultants were ranked among the top 200 best executive search consultants in the world (The Global 200 Executive Recruiters).

2001

Ward Howell unveiled its new project - E-xecutive - creating an online community of managers (www.e-xecutive.ru). The company also formed an independent Management Selection Department, a leader in middle management selection in the Russian market.

2002

Ward Howell became a strategic partner of Spencer Stuart, the largest privately-owned global executive search firm.

2004

The company began its operations in Ukraine.

2006

The company is successful in selling its web project “E-xecutive”.  Ward Howell opens its new office in Ekaterinburg.

2007

Ward Howell International merged with Zest Leadership, a company providing consulting and coaching services to executives and top business managers. The merged company will bear the name Ward Howell and will offer its clients integrated solutions in the sphere of Talent Equity.
